ramblings at 2 in the morning

been thinking a lot lately inside my head :)
about life/love/friends/morals/school/goals...
and honestly all this thinking is driving me nuts,
but it's also given me some good insights.

thoughts on the top of my head:
-what's more important achieving all my dreams or doing what i'm meant to be doing
(even if that meant my dreams wouldn't be included)?
-would it be irresponsible to take another year off and travel. i want to do relief work & eat good food outside of the u.s. but this plan probably won't go into effect until i'm done with school :(
-i still haven't read a whole book this summer. hmm...a thousand splendid suns.
-why haven't i heard "my hands are shaking" by sondre lerche sooner in life.
-i think i think too much.
-i need to learn to wear contacts.
-ha, i don't take my own advice
-i'd like to live in new york someday.
-why doesn't anyone wink anymore?
-i miss my kids in el salvador terribly.


food for thought:

if people slapped this verse on themselves and breathed life into it.
then we'd all be walking around looking like Jesus.

love (or whatever else you call it) is putting others above yourself.

imagine walking into a room filled with people who would die for you.

yea, think about that.
